# Event-site search: scope and release worksheet (English)

Make a copy for each event site. This worksheet records what the public site search actually searches; it does not certify an external search engine index.

## 1. Decision and ownership

- Site / public URL:
- Event-list URL that remains usable without search:
- Why a search box is useful here (number of public events / attendee task):
- Search tool and current provider documentation URL:
- Search/content editor:
- Technical owner:
- Approved event-facts source and owner:
- Date / version:

## 2. Search scope and update behavior

| Content type or state | Public search: include / exclude / unknown | Source or setting | Example URL | Owner / check date |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Upcoming public events | | | | |
| Past public editions | | | | |
| Cancelled or postponed editions | | | | |
| Draft / private / staff pages | | | | |
| Blog, products or other site pages | | | | |
| External ticket-provider pages | | | | |

- How a new page enters results (observed, not assumed):
- How a changed title/date/status reaches results (observed):
- Any provider-controlled delay seen:
- Result card fields shown (title / edition / date / city / venue / status):
- No-results text and route to the complete event list or help:
- Suggestions available? If yes, are they optional and correctly scoped?

## 3. Published-page query checks

Run from the public URL. Open the result, not just the search-results page. Use non-sensitive examples.

| Query type | Exact query | Expected result and public destination | Actual first result / destination | Phone check | Keyboard path and focus | Fix owner / retest date |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Exact current event title | | | | | | |
| Partial title | | | | | | |
| Alternate city, venue or performer term | | | | | | |
| Repeated title with edition year | | | | | | |
| Old or archived event | | | | | | |
| Nonsense query / no result | | | | | | |
| Private or draft phrase (must not leak) | | | | | | |

For each relevant result, compare date, place, status, link and next action with the approved event record. If a third-party ticket page is linked, verify its public destination without assuming it is indexed by the website search.
