# Ticketed event clone: source vs new edition

Use one card per new event. This English worksheet records configuration checks, not buyer details. **Do not assume a field copied**: mark its observed state in your own platform.

**Provider check:** [Showpass](https://help.showpass.com/hc/en-us/articles/360023664234-Organizer-guide-Cloning-or-duplicating-an-event) opens a prefilled edit page after Clone, but its guide does not list every field that carries over. [Peatix](https://help-organizer.peatix.com/en/support/solutions/articles/44001821722-how-to-duplicate-an-event) says an attached form is **not** automatically attached to the duplicate; re-enable it if needed. Verify your provider's actual behavior.

## Buyer-view and handoff check

- [ ] If offered, the buyer preview shows the correct date, venue/access information and ticket options; otherwise these fields were checked in the organizer draft.
- [ ] Checkout questions match the new edition; no unapproved live order was placed for this check.
- [ ] Each discrepancy has an owner and was rechecked after correction.
- [ ] The source event remains unchanged.
- [ ] Only the reviewed new draft was published. Its public buyer page was opened immediately afterward to verify the date, visible ticket options and questions.
