# Venue map publish-and-test worksheet

Use one copy for each public event venue. This is an English-language worksheet. The event page remains the source of approved arrival information.

## Approved arrival details

| Item | Approved value | Verified by / date |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Event and venue | | |
| Full public street address | | |
| Visitor entrance or gate | | |
| Accessible arrival and step-free route information | | |
| Temporary entrance or construction note | | |
| Public venue contact or help route | | |
| Map place URL and intended pin | | |
| Direct directions URL | | |

Check whether the map pin marks the attendee entrance, a building centroid, a campus, or a different venue with a similar name. Do not expose staff-only gates or private access details in a public map or page.

## Placement record

| Item | Value |
| --- | --- |
| Event-page URL | |
| Website editor and embed/code field | |
| Map embed owner | |
| Descriptive iframe title | |
| Visible address and entrance text location | |
| Direct directions-link label and URL | |
| Date published | |

If the editor cannot embed the map, publish the approved address and direct directions link. The map is supplementary to those details.

## Published-page test

| Check | Device / browser | Result, correction owner and retest date |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Public page opens without staff access | | |
| Pin and route destination match the approved venue | | |
| Visitor entrance and written address agree with the map | | |
| Directions link opens the intended place | | |
| Phone layout shows map, address and link clearly | | |
| Keyboard reaches iframe and link; focus is visible | | |
| Iframe has a descriptive title | | |
| Address and link still work when the map fails to load | | |
| Any second public event page shows the same venue details | | |

Recheck after a venue, entrance, map-place, website-editor or published-page change. Record the new approved value and who notified attendees if an earlier direction was wrong.
