# Event-page Google Search diagnosis worksheet

English editable template. Duplicate this file for each event edition and one exact public URL. Use the current Search Console interface and the page owner’s confirmed event record. Do not put attendee personal information here.

## 1. Reported problem

- Event edition and approved public name:
- Event owner / page publisher / web owner:
- Exact public URL after redirects:
- Host or platform controlling that URL:
- Search Console property containing the URL (or host contact):
- Reported surface: [ ] ordinary web result [ ] Event experience [ ] Business Profile Event post
- Search words, language, city, device and date used by reporter:
- Screenshot or observation location:
- Current event facts confirmed by owner (date, time zone, place/access, status):
- Public ticket or registration destination tested without editor login:

If this is a Business Profile post problem, assign it to the profile manager and record that post’s status separately. Do not change website indexing settings merely because a profile post is absent.

## 2. URL Inspection evidence

| Field | Indexed record | Live test after any fix | Owner / note |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Exact inspected URL and inspection date | | | |
| Overall URL status | | | |
| Page indexing reason | | | |
| Last crawl | | Not predicted by live test | |
| Page fetch / HTTP response | | | |
| Crawl allowed? | | | |
| Indexing allowed? | | | |
| User-declared canonical | | | |
| Google-selected canonical | | Cannot be predicted by live test | |
| Rendered event name/date/place/action | | | |
| Referring sitemap/page if reported | | Live test does not check these | |

Do not treat an empty referring field as proof of no links. A valid live test does not guarantee indexing. Mark whether an intentionally removed, redirected or duplicate URL is correctly excluded.

## 3. Choose one branch and one next action

| Observed branch | Evidence to attach | Next owner action | Recheck |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Public page blocked or unavailable | Inspection reason, response, public browser check | Ask the site owner to review the exact noindex, robots, login, error or redirect state; protect intentional restrictions | Live test once the corrected page is public |
| Discovered or crawled, not indexed | Inspection reason, last crawl, page content and destination | Confirm distinct current attendee information and internal discovery; do not repeatedly request crawling as a cure | Compare later indexed status and last crawl |
| Duplicate/alternate URL | Declared and Google-selected canonical; other public URLs | Compare edition, language, tickets and links with the intended current page | Inspect the intended canonical URL |
| Indexed, missing for a query | Indexed status, exact query and Performance page filter | Check whether the page answers that visitor intent; avoid a ranking promise | Compare available impressions and query evidence |
| Ordinary result present, Event enhancement absent | Rich Results Test plus visible event facts and Event report | Owner checks current Google Event eligibility and matching markup | Recheck enhancement after publishing and recrawl |
| Business Profile Event post absent | Managed profile, post status and owner | Profile manager checks that separate post | Public profile check once status is live |

Selected branch:
Specific correction (one change at a time):
Approval / implementer:
Public release time and link:
Evidence saved:
Follow-up owner and next review date:

## 4. Public-path closeout

- [ ] Read current event name, date, local time, location/access and status.
- [ ] Follow the ticket or registration link to the correct current event.
- [ ] Compare the next indexed record with the saved baseline, including last crawl and canonical.
- [ ] Check Event enhancement only if that was the reported problem.
- [ ] Record observed outcome: indexed / pending / correctly redirected / intentionally excluded / other.
- [ ] If the event facts change again, correct the public page and reopen this row.
