# Event website performance budget — editable decision worksheet

Event/site: ______ Version and date: ______ Budget owner: ______ Release decision owner: ______

Create one row per representative page **and state**. Pick provisional limits from your own baseline; record the unit and method. Do not add overlapping category subtotals.

| Page/state and attendee task | Device/network/cache/consent | Baseline evidence and date | Experience target (LCP, INP, CLS or task timing) | Resource ceiling (total, image, JS, CSS, font, third-party; units) | Proposed change and expected cost | Measured result and evidence | Decision/owner/review date |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Landing: find date, venue, ticket CTA | | | | | | | |
| Program: find session or performer | | | | | | | |
| Registration: enter, correct and submit | | | | | | | |
| External ticket handoff: reach intended provider | | | | | | | |

## When a row exceeds its budget

1. Identify the asset, script, layout change or delayed interaction, with a trace or comparable measurement.
2. Record visitor value and the requester/owner. Can it be smaller, removed, or loaded on demand?
3. Re-run the same attendee task under the same conditions, including the later interaction if delivery was deferred.
4. If an exception remains, record affected URLs/devices, measured overage, reason, approver, mitigation, expiry and next review. Do not approve an unusable ticket or registration path.
