# Event ticket-link click measurement and QA sheet

Copy this English Markdown sheet for one event edition. It records what a click actually measures; it does not turn a checkout visit into a sale.

## 1. Link and measurement inventory

| Event edition | Published page URL | Ticket link label and location | Actual destination URL / domain | Link behavior | Cross-domain setting checked by | Measurement method / owner |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [edition] | [page] | [label / page area] | [URL / domain] | [external anchor, same-domain route, embed, other] | [name / date / finding] | [GA4 outbound, separately tested event, or none / owner] |

Do not put attendee names, order IDs or other personal information into test link parameters or this shared worksheet. Keep internal analytics identifiers in the organizer's approved records.

## 2. Published-page test

| Link inventory row | Device and account state | Consent / privacy-control state | Destination reached | GA4 debug event and Link URL observed | Result / correction owner | Retest date |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [row] | [phone or desktop / signed out or intended attendee] | [state] | [yes / no / unexpected URL] | [click event and URL / absent / not applicable] | [result / owner] | [date] |

- [ ] Check that the actual live page contains the intended ticket link and accessible button text.
- [ ] Confirm GA4 is already operating on that page before relying on its outbound-click feature.
- [ ] For an external link, review the web stream's Enhanced measurement and Outbound clicks settings with the analytics owner.
- [ ] Record whether the checkout domain is configured for cross-domain measurement; that changes the default outbound-click behavior.
- [ ] Use Tag Assistant debug mode for your own test device and inspect the event and destination URL in DebugView. Respect the site's existing consent controls.
- [ ] Open the destination without completing a purchase. Test each distinct URL and mobile presentation.
- [ ] Investigate missing events without treating a disabled measurement option, an embedded checkout or a privacy control as proof of a broken ticket link.

## 3. Reporting boundary

| Report period and time zone | Event page and edition | GA4 Link URL / Link domain | Observed outbound Event count | Provider orders or tickets, separately labeled | Data owner / caveat |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [start–end / zone] | [page / edition] | [URL / domain] | [count] | [orders or tickets / source / period] | [name / missing measurement, cross-domain or test traffic] |

GA4 outbound `click` events count observed link clicks. One person can click more than once; a click may never become an order. Compare with ticket-provider data only after stating what each number means and which dates and event edition it covers. Remove or label controlled test activity according to your measurement plan.
