# Event invitation resend decision card (English)

Use one card per event edition and original invitation. Keep names and addresses out of the shared copy. This is an approval record, not a contact export.

| Decision | Record before approval |
|---|---|
| Event edition and current event-page URL | [edition] · [verified URL] |
| Original campaign and delivery evidence | [campaign ID] · [source of delivered/received group] |
| Useful reason for one resend | [new confirmed fact or real deadline] |
| Base audience | [eligible contacts who received original] |
| Exclude registered or event-suppressed | [source and last checked time] |
| Exclude previous resend and overlapping scheduled message | [campaign/flow IDs] |
| Response signal | [no recorded open / no recorded click / another criterion] |
| Signal limitation | [privacy opens, bot clicks, unavailable tracking, data lag] |
| Final estimated recipient count | [count] · [where verified] |
| Reviewer and send owner | [roles, not attendee details] |
| Stop condition | [registration closed / event changed / destination invalid] |

## Four preflight decisions

1. **Worth sending?** The action is still possible and the second note contains a real, approved reason. If it merely repeats the same invitation, hold it.
2. **Who receives it?** Verify the base campaign, current eligibility and exclusions with the event record. If the email platform cannot know who registered, reconcile outside the platform before approval.
3. **What reaches the inbox?** Confirm event edition, date/time zone, format, price or access condition, subject, preview, one action and the live destination. Deliver a test and follow its link.
4. **What happens after?** Log the send; watch delivery, clicks, opt-outs and replies. Route questions to a monitored inbox. Stop a scheduled resend if the event facts or registration state change.

**Do not equate a recorded open with a human read, a click with registration, or a resend with a guaranteed outcome.** Mailchimp’s resend controls and Apple Mail Privacy Protection limits are provider-specific; use the controls and reports available in your own email service.
