# New-order alert scope and delivery card

Use this card to verify the organizer's notification route. Record roles and results, **not** buyer names, email addresses, order IDs, payment details or message contents. Keep those in the ticket provider's authorized system.

## Setting and recipient scope

| Check | Record |
| --- | --- |
| Ticket provider | |
| Setting scope: one event / whole box office / other | |
| Which events are included | |
| Intended monitored inbox role (not address) | |
| Recipient-list owner | |
| Setting enabled and saved on | |
| Who may change the setting | |

## Delivery check

Use a controlled order only if it is authorized; otherwise use the next legitimate completed order. Check the actual provider order record before drawing conclusions from email.

| Observation | Yes / No / Not checked | Checked at and by |
| --- | --- | --- |
| New-order setting remained enabled after reopening | | |
| Expected event appeared in provider order record | | |
| Intended inbox received its alert | | |
| Alert event and status matched provider record | | |
| Any unintended inbox received the alert | | |
| Buyer confirmation route checked separately if relevant | | |

## Maintenance

| Item | Record |
| --- | --- |
| Last recipient review | |
| Address/role removed or changed (role only) | |
| Next-order verification owner | |
| Next review after staff/event change | |
| Unresolved delivery issue and owner | |

An email alert is a prompt to look at the provider record; use the provider's order report for sales counts.
