Event volunteer recruitment flyer template you can edit

A volunteer flyer has to work at a glance. This original printable SVG gives organizers a visual starting point and an editable copy sheet. Replace every bracketed field with verified details before sharing; the flyer is an invitation to apply, not a role agreement or a promise of selection.

Start with one real role, not a vague call for help

Download the editable print flyer (SVG)

Download the printable flyer image (PNG)

Download the copy and review sheet (Markdown)

Write the role title and one sentence about what the volunteer will help attendees do. Use the approved role description to check the work, boundaries, supervisor and training before inviting people. A specific welcome-desk role is easier to assess than “help with everything.” Volunteer Ireland recommends defining the role before writing an ad.[1][2][3]

Make time, place and support visible

State the event date, location, expected shift window or range, briefing and support contact. Say whether expenses or meals are offered only after the organizer has confirmed them. Do not copy an attractive benefit from a sample design unless it is real for this event. Local rules on volunteer status and expenses vary.[2]

Give one clear application route

Add a short, readable URL or contact address, application deadline if one exists, and what happens next. Avoid a QR code as the only route: the printed address and contact should still work. Test the destination and contact response before printing or posting. Keep sensitive eligibility details in the proper application process rather than on a public flyer.[2]

Edit, print and review the original design

Download the portrait SVG and replace bracketed text in any vector editor or as plain SVG text. The companion copy sheet lists each field and a pre-publication check. Print one sample and review readability, contrast, event facts, accessibility and the live application route. Use the full role brief for detailed duties; the flyer should be scannable.[2]
