18 event social media post examples you can adapt

A marketing calendar says when to publish; these original examples give you words to adapt. Each bracketed field needs a confirmed event fact. The examples cover announcement, access, live programme and follow-up, not a promise that every channel or format suits your audience.

Three original editable social post cards for before, during and after an event.
Adapt the phase, artwork and caption to verified event facts.

Before the event: six posts

Use a post only when its premise is true. A confirmed speaker post needs permission and approved session details; a registration deadline needs an actual deadline and time zone. Do not manufacture scarcity, quotes or attendance numbers.

  • Before · Save the date — [EVENT] is coming on [DATE] in [CITY/ONLINE]. We will share confirmed details at [OFFICIAL URL]. Save the date if this is for you.
  • Before · Audience promise — If you [AUDIENCE TASK], [EVENT] will focus on [VERIFIED TOPIC/OUTCOME]. See the current programme and attendance details at [OFFICIAL URL].
  • Before · Confirmed speaker — [SPEAKER] will cover [CONFIRMED SESSION/TOPIC] at [EVENT]. Read the approved session details and joining options at [OFFICIAL URL].
  • Before · Venue and access — Heading to [EVENT]? Find the confirmed venue, arrival route and access information at [OFFICIAL URL]. Ask [SUPPORT CONTACT] if you need a detail clarified.
  • Before · Registration open — Registration for [EVENT/DATE] is open at [OFFICIAL URL]. Check the listed ticket categories, price and conditions before choosing your place.
  • Before · Real deadline — Registration closes at [DATE/TIME/TIME ZONE], if places remain. See current availability and the official terms at [OFFICIAL URL].

During the event: six posts

For live posts, have a designated reviewer check schedule changes, locations, access information and names before publication. Do not turn a public social post into emergency instructions; follow the approved venue communication plan.

  • During · Doors open — Doors for [EVENT] open at [TIME] at [CONFIRMED ENTRANCE]. Have your approved admission information ready. Current arrival details: [OFFICIAL URL].
  • During · Session now — [CONFIRMED SESSION] starts at [TIME/ROOM]. Check the current programme at [OFFICIAL URL] for any approved changes.
  • During · Useful takeaway — One practical idea from [APPROVED SESSION]: [ACCURATE PARAPHRASE]. Explore the published session resources, if available, at [OFFICIAL URL].
  • During · Behind the scenes — A look at [APPROVED PRODUCTION DETAIL] from today’s event. Thanks to the team who made this part happen. [CREDIT/TAGS IF APPROVED].
  • During · Help and access — Need information at [EVENT]? The current help point is [VERIFIED LOCATION/CONTACT]. Check [OFFICIAL URL] for access and programme updates.
  • During · Day recap — Today at [EVENT], attendees explored [VERIFIED THEMES]. Here is what is confirmed for tomorrow: [SESSION/DOORS/TIME] at [OFFICIAL URL].

After the event: six posts

Publish only images, quotes and recordings you are allowed to use. A photo gallery or replay post requires a real destination. Feedback requests should point to the approved survey, and a next-edition post must not invent a ticket launch.

  • After · Thank you — Thank you to everyone who joined [EVENT] and helped deliver it. We will share confirmed resources and next steps at [OFFICIAL URL].
  • After · Three lessons — Three takeaways we can share from [EVENT]: [APPROVED POINT 1], [POINT 2] and [POINT 3]. Full context: [RESOURCE URL].
  • After · Gallery — A selection of approved images from [EVENT] is now at [GALLERY URL]. Thanks to [PHOTOGRAPHER/CREDIT]. Contact [CONTACT] about a photo concern.
  • After · Recording — The [SESSION] recording is available at [OFFICIAL URL], if released. Check the page for captions, transcript and access details.
  • After · Feedback — Attended [EVENT]? Tell us what worked and what needs attention at [SURVEY URL]. The survey closes [DATE/TIME], if a deadline is set.
  • After · Next edition — Planning for [NEXT EVENT/EDITION] is under way [ONLY IF TRUE]. Check [OFFICIAL URL] for confirmed dates and updates; no ticket release is implied.

Use the editable visual cards and copy sheet

Download announcement card (SVG)

Download live-event card (SVG)

Download follow-up card (SVG)

Download all 18 captions (Markdown)

Edit the three original SVG cards in a vector editor or as plain text, replacing bracketed fields. The companion Markdown sheet contains all 18 captions and an approval checklist. The cards are examples, not final event artwork; review crop, legibility and correct language on the actual platform.

Check facts, permission and destination before posting

Check the event name, edition, date, local time zone, venue, ticket status, price and actual destination. If you direct people to a Boletolibre.com event page, verify that page and its ticket handoff match the post. Record the approver, post URL and correction owner; update scheduled and pinned posts if facts change.
